Hello i got his tank to hold frags down the road. For now im going to use it as a reef tank till i have a need to store my frags. I have another 150 that the silicone is setting up on now. I also get a 75 from my friend that is moving. On this tank i am running 2-400w mh 20000k. A etss 800 downdraft skimmer w/ mag24. My return is also a mag24. Ill get some better pics after i get the room cleaned up.

Yea i thought that too. My mouth says that im going to make it a frag tank but i tend to fall in love with tanks and dont want to change them. I have 300lbs of live rock in it now and another 250lbs coming next week. Idk where im going to put it. Hopefully ill have my 75gal this weekend.

I think the is the perfect shape for a reef (or frag tank). Most aquariums, in general, are made too tall and stubby, IMO.

Are the fins of that blue tang ok?- or is that just he angle of the pic?
You have a lot of skeletons and things, like that clam (derasa?) shell and trachyphyllia. Were they dead when you got them?

It's beautiful now, even without a coral/color-cluttered mise en scène. I'm not gonna say it would be a shame to see it be a FT; just that it could be a jaw-dropping reef.

The tank is 72x30x12" and i have a 50gal sump. Ill add some pics of the sump asap. As for the tang i got him from my lfs he is beat up very bad and wasnt doing well at the store. I think someone had him in a 20gal!!! So i hope i can save him. At least now he is in a large tank that he can move around in. The skeletons came with the live rock. A few of the sps skeletons came from a crash i had about 2 yrs ago. Ill start to add fish and coral this weekend. Ill have 3 tanks to stock so i guess i wont have any money for a while. Lol but at least i have paid for all my liverock that was a huge bridge to cross. Im thinking about adding a sailfin tang, yellow tang, about 10 bar back shrimp, nem,and about 10 peppermint shrimp this friday. I HAVE NOW A SPAWNING PAIR OF CLOWNS,A TWO YEAR OLD MANDERIN ,BLUE TANG AND A GREEN CLOWN GOBY. THANKS EVERYONE!!!! IF YOU THINK OF ANY FISH THAT YOU THINK I SHOULD GET PLEASE REPLY. THANKS ILL KEEP PICS OF ALL MY BUILDS COMING!;D
