Omard, I don't post here much, but I always like your replies. One other thing I should've included earlier is I'd just purchases this Glo 'system' not too long ago. Total cost with bulbs was just under $200 which is why I'm hesitant to spend more moola. One other thought, the same guy I was talking to today at the store stated "if the BTA needed more light than what it was getting, it would've moved up closer to the top of the tank" ??? comments on this statement? :0 Possible merit to it because he always stayed about the middle layer of tank. There is plenty of rock etc where he could've gone higher. It makes me wonder if because I never fed it for so long jacked it up or some water parameter issue... ah, the joys of salt tanking!

maybe....... but then again maybe not. I can promise you, you don't have enough light for that nem. it is one of the lower light photsynthetic nems but still, there's just not enough. I will tell you tho, if this thing dies in your system it could make things really tough on the system. The guy at the lfs, I believe, is just trying to save face in that they sold you the wrong system for what you are trying to keep and the next thing the guy will do is blame it on your water quality because those lights he sold you are so great. I work at a lfs know some of the things that go on. (the one I work at is very straight and the owner is a great man who loves the hobby. I'll give you an example of fish stores doing this. When I first got into the hobby, the other lfs in my town sold me a clown tang for a 55 gallon tank. When this fish died of stress the guy told me it was because of my water quality. Now looking back I do know that I didn't have near enough room in my tank for a clown tang. I really do hope this post helps you out a little and I'm sorry for the frustration this whole thing has caused you. I love both of my bubble tips so I know how you feel.
