i got a bubble tip anemone on sunday and on monday it moved to the edge of the glass between a rock. now my false percula clownfish is hosting it. will the anemone move to a better location? it seems like hes getting squished by the rocks but i dont want to manually remove it. is my clownfish causing stress to the newly added bta??

I think it will be fine. I wouldn't move it. Mine move a few times a month. Moving it yourself might cause stress. so you have any pictures. welcome to 3reef.

    how old is your tank?
i would leave it where it is, the anemone will go where it wants to go, so if its not confortable there, it will move in time.

I agree, just leave it alone. If it's not happy, then it will move to a better place that it likes.

Leave it alone, if you try to move it you take a chance of injuring it and that is something you do not want to do.

There are a few way of making them move without touching them one of the best is to take a power head and point it at the Nem, this will should irritate it and it will move, just make sure that the intake is completely protected in case it moves toward the PH. there is no guarantee this will work though, I had one that I tried this on and it seem to enjoy the extra flow, opening and swelling up bigger than it ever did, LOL

Another way is to try and block its source of light, they will move toward light just like Xenia does. I never tried this but know someone who did and she said hers moved in a few hours after she blocked its light source.

    Good luck!
