I have had this BTA for about a year now. It still appears very healthy and happy but it has not eaten in a few weeks. The past 10 months or so I have been feeding it a piece of freeze dried krill every 10 days or so, but the last few times I have tried it didn't want it. It is closing up around it but then will release it and let if float away. It has been hosted by 2 clowns since day 1, nothing new to the tank for months. Should I be worried? Should I keep trying to feed it every week or just let it be?

Sorry, not the greatest pic of it but like I said, it appears happy and healthy

Beautiful nem (and tank), Travis. :)

I always fed my nems fresh meaty foods, as well as a variety (fish, shrimp, clam, etc). You can try something different if you want, but as long as it's staying healthy, I wouldn't worry too much. Hosting clownfish, along with their photosynthetic properties, usually provides all the nutrition they need.

+1 I feed my BTA on occasion but mostly gets food when I feed my corals from the water column. My clowns actually bring it food. It looks very healthy, I wouldn't worry.

Thank you both for the responses! Next week I will try something different for food, but if it doesn't take it, I wont be worried anymore..
    Thanks again!

I just realized the nem (and clowns) in my profile pic is the same nem in the above pics -- I love watching things grow :)
