my BTA which has been in one spot for several weeks moved last night, I Just found him with his foot wrapped under the rock with my 60+polyp zoanthid colony, he is touching a few(like 10-20) of them, should I worry about this, or will they be ok

I'm not sure if they will be ok or not, b/c I don't have any corals yet. I did tell you that he would move around anytime he felt like it, right? My BTA has been maybe 6 weeks in my tank and has moved around to every rock. I'm still hesistant to get any corals that a BTA could harm with it in there. I'll probably end up bringing the BTA back to the LFS when I do decide to get some corals, especially since the clowns still have not taken it as a host. My BTA is becoming more of a PITA than I thought, and I think I'd prefer corals over the BTA in the future. I hope your zoanthid colony isn't affected by you BTA, good luck.

most of the colony has opened, and I knew it would move, just figured I'd notice it in time to move the corals, I had the corals before the BTA cause I didnt want an anemone at first, now the clowns like it, so its here to stay. mine is pretty small though, like 4-5inch across the disc when hes opened up nicely

You may want to manually remove bta from zoa colony and place in an area without many corals and then feed regularly to encourage the anemone to stay put.

Hummm, found just the opposite in my experience...:-/

Further discovered that a good trick for keeping an anemone in a certain area was accomplished by surrounding it with zoa's.
