I KNOW ITS NOT AN EXACT SCIENCE BUT IN GENERAL DOES A BTA MOVE UNTIL IT FINDS A SPOT AND THEN BASICALLY STAY THERE OUR IS IT A NOMAD CONSTANTLY MOVING. IF IT DOES USUALLY STAY IN ONE SPOT ONCE IT FINDS A SPOT IT LIKES AFTER WHAT TIME FRAME OF THE BTA NOT MOVING WOULD YOU SAY IS A GOOD INDICATION THAT IT LIKES THAT SPOT. THE REASON WHY I ASK IS I GOT THE BTA FIRST IN THE HOPES THAT IT WOULDN'T MOVE VERY MUCH AND THEN WHEN I GET CORAL LATER IT WILL NOT STING THE CORA LOOKING FOR A SPOT. MY BTA HASN'T MOVED FOR ABOUT 3DAYS NOW, AND I LIKE THE SPOT HE'S IN SO I HOPE HE STAYS THERE.

    Yes.

BTAs will go when and where they want to go. Many unkown factors determine it's behavior.

Your new Gobies may or may not come out as they get acclimated. Way to early to tell.

Don't know what is considered "normal behaviour" in the BTA "world" :-/ - but mine "wandered" for over a month before settling down to one particular "area" -

He/She/It (?) seems to like to have a spot where it can come out during light times then move deep back into a rock cranny during dark. - Every once in a while for some inexplicable reason it takes a "walk" up to surface, sits for about half a day, then heads back down to its favorite "area" where it now typically stays... :p

Weird, but interesting to try and figure out why it does what it does... :)

feed him every other day with a variety of foods (it's ok to miss a day once in a while I do) I feed mine frozen mysis, frozen meat medley, freeze dried krill , and sometimes I'll go to the store and pick up some fresh mussel or clams and feed them that they really slrup that down!

i actually fed my clown fish mysis shrimp last night and the one that goes in the anemone started feeding it. he also fed him some frozen formula 2 i put in for the tang. he didn't feed him alot a couple of peices of formula 2 and 4-5 mysis shrimp is that enough.

    TIA
    Joe

I always target feed my anemones aside from feeding the fish I have a LTA also so I will split one little cube between the two anemones when I feed mysis they get more than 4-5 mysis. I have heard you CAN over feed them so you don't want to over do it but I would give him more than that.
This is of corse just my opinion.
but I hope it helps ;D
