heres my problem my bta split and i dont need 2 in this tank the first was a hitchhiker on a rose bta and morphed into a melon sized ball. Now it has split and I am wondering if I could take one of the splits and put in into my other tank, which has two 96 watt pc. In that tank I have had good luck with many lps(bubble, galaxi, frogspawn, etc.) but don't know if it will adapt to pc from 250 mh.

The anemone may hide from the additional light for a while when you move it, but if it's been a while since he split, you could definitely move the second BTA. He'll come out more and more as he gets used to the additional light. Make sure you acclimate as you normally do when you move it. Congrats on the split!

Are you sure the hitch hiker anemone is actually a BTA? Most LFS are very careful when it comes to anemones and not letting any get away for free. Manjano anemones look like BTA, but split like weeds and will overtake your tank if not taken care of early. Do you have a pic?

    Yup tiger's right.
If it IS a bta poke its foot for a while and put it in direct flow intell it starts to move. Lightely stick your finger under the foot, and gently pry it up. Take it to your LFS and get $50 for it!

Personally I think Majano anemone's look kind of cool. Too bad they're like weeds.

Sure you can. Just like you can sell your corals once they take off and start growing nicely. You don't want too many anemones in your tank, and if you have some soft corals they have sweepers that will sting and possibly kill / damage your other corals. If you have a healthy system, you'll have to frag to keep everything healthy.
