Bubble algae is taking over

    So Hopefully Ill have a pic up tomorrow, but to make it simple, Theres bubble algae taking over my tank. Terribly! Its everywhere, I remove what i can buy hand/siphon, do a water change, and it just keeps getting worse, and worse, I even picked up an emerald crab. what else can I do??:confused::confused:

    I've had the same problem for the longest time. crabs can do only so much. try some GFO phosphate remover to see if you can starve it out over the next 2 months. cut back your lighting hours, and make sure skimmer is working 100%

    Do you have a valonia or ventricaria ventricosa type of bubble algae?

    carefull to not pop the bubbles that only helps to spread the algae spores
