What is the best way to get rid of this? I heard emerald crab, but that's hit and miss isn't it?

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Me, I pluck all the bubbles off with my fingers, turn off the pumps, let them settle to the bottom and syphon them out. If you have a lot growing you must be having a nutrient problem as well.

I had a really bad outbreak, ended up pulling most of the rock work out and gave it a scrub and a fresh rinse with new water (100 lbs - took 8 hours), did a 40% water change as well. It's been a month and so far it's looking positive.

There is only one little spot that has about eight of them. I just did a 35% water change. I think my phosphates are really high, because I am getting more green algae all over the glass. I need to get a few new tests, I lost some coming back from college. I put a bag of carbon into the water, which I thought would help. This is when the algae problem really began. This was maybe a week ago. I took it out now.

The Red or Green Bubble Algae?

The GBA pops of fairly easy and can be sucked up with a turkey baster or siphon.

To remove RBA the holdfast will have to be removed. Tweezers or a similar tool works well.

Let's hope I don't have to pull it all out. I don't have much just a little bit group. I want to get it cleared up, before I have a problem.

NO DON'T POP!!! This releases there spores and then you could have a major outbreak. What i do is take out the affected piece or pieces put them in some salt water (i usually do this during a water change so i have some old water to use) pop, scrub and rinse. Keep some old salt water aside so you can lift the piece out of the water, rinse with water that you have not popped it in, dunk in clean old water and your set.

Sorry, bad choice of words on my part. I should have said you can nudge them off fairly easy and suck them up with with a turkey baster. You do NOT want to pop them.
