Emerald crabs are rumored to eat bubble algae. Alternatively, keep your phosphates down to starve them.

Our bubble algae is almost down to nothing now. We manually removed the bubbles (intact if possible) with either tongs or tweezers, usually doing this with a water change with the siphon going. It's easier to do with two people - one removing the bubbles and the other suctioning right behind (in case spores were released) - kind of like surgery! Since the bubble algae outbreak, I've added a phosphate reactor and a refugium. It took a little time and persistence, but I only seen an occasional bubble now. Also, check your powerheads! I actually had some growing inside the powerhead that was probably spewing spores everywhere! I have two emerald crabs - one eats it and the other doesn't touch it. Go figure! Good luck.

+1 to nuisance algae spreading by way of powerhead.

The phosphate reactor is your best bet. The bubble will run its' course and with no phosphate or other nutrients it will all die off.
