I did a facelift on my tank and my bubble which is usually one of my health corals and inflates to around 7-8" has been deflated like this for the last three days. The other corals seem fine the bubble is the only thing showing outward signs of distress. Today I found my heater had gotten bumped while I was rearranging and was set at 86 degrees. Could this be the culprit? Please help, this is one of my favorite corals in the tank and I really don't want to lose it.

Mine goes that from time to time when i move things around. I will take a while for it to bounce back.

    * What lights do you have?

Coralife AquaLight Pro. It has one 150w 10k MH and two 65w actinic PC bulbs. I keep the bubble at one end of tank out of the MH's spread so that it's only getting direct light from the less powerful actinic bulbs.

More than enough , Best thing to do is to wait it out. However mine goes back to normal after 1-2 hours and not 3 days.

It appears that is isn't just deflated but that something either attacked it or its flesh was torn in some matter. It will probably come back to life after a few days of healing but keep an eye on it. Whatever you do don't disturb it.

Did you change the flow in that area?

It could be changed. It used to sit directly off to the side of a Koralia 1050 and now it is sitting directly underneath the pump.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I would first suspect the temp and second any disturbance to the sand bed.

The water temp is back to normal and the bubble is still deflated. I saw it inflate just a little bit yesterday afternoon, nothing like it used to be. Here's what it used to look like when it was happy. I don't know what is wrong; i mean this coral got caught in a siphon hose once and didn't seemed bothered at all.

Is it currently at the bottom now? I would move it higher in the tank.
