About 3 weeks ago my bubble coral fell during rockscape 3.0. About a 1/4 of the bubble got "popped" so that when it was opened up they didn't fill up with air or whatever it fills up with.

It had started to come back... but then i intervened. lol

I was fighting a cyano outbreak last week and accidentally hit the same half of the coral is a stream of water. It almost immediately started to fade fast.

Now half of the coral is alive, and the other half is dead--and gone. All you can see is the rock.

Anything i can do to make sure the half that's still there lives and grows back? Anything else i should be thinking about?

BTW before anyone tells me to focus on the cyano... CuC from reefcleaners completely cleared the cyano in about 2 days. sweet.

Here is a pic. I dont know how well you can see it in this picture but you used to not be able to see the rock or the "fins" at all.

Now there is basically a large area in the middle where there is no animal whatsoever.

There is a large piece that is still living on the left side of the pic that you can see. then on the right there is about 3 or 4 bubbles still hangin around.

The "mouth" at least thats what i think it is, is what concerns me most...its pretty much gone on the left and totally gone on the small patch on the right

You need to be target feeding meaty foods to the mouth that remains until it recovers. Then it will eventually split and grow back over the old skeleton.....it will just be ugly for a while.

It may well make a come-back. I had a green bubble that I thought was absolutely dead - no flesh on it at all for about 3-4 weeks. Then all of a sudden I noticed new bubbles inflating, albeit small ones. So don't give up on it, and try not to traumatize it. I do agree with feeding it, though. I fed mine frozen mysis.

i just went through this 2 weeks ago. bubbles totally limp, not inflated. could see the skeletal ribs. i thought it was a goner for sure. i couldnt even feed it , it was that bad. slowly but surely its come back to its full glory. i have no idea what happened or why. give it time and im gonna guess, its gonna be fine. good luck
