Last night I got a bubble coral from a Xenia trade in. I brought it home and noticed that my blue legged hermits were attracted to it. I didn't notice the bubbles inflating. This morning I check on it, and it appears that the bubbles have been popped. Is there any hope for it recovering? I never thought of blue legged hermits as unsafe for reefs and haven't had any problems with them before.

They look ripped. I'm not too optimistic...

ALL the bubbles? I've popped bubbles on my BC and if it had eyes, it wouldn't have even blinked...

I dont think that the crabs harmed the BC, but more like they where investigating the new LR that the BC came on. Give it a couple of days. Lighting can be an issue, what kind of lighting do you have?

Your lighting is fine. BC are very hardy, just give it time.
