Bubble Coral Splitting

    I dunno if bubbles split.


    My pearl bubble has a opening between the two rows of bubbles that's usually visible, though, so it may be that that tissue is just growing big enough to be noticeable.

    It certainly looks healthy, so it could be splitting and should not be a problem.

    im not sure either. The tissue has always been visible whenever it opens, so i dont know if its that or not, but its never shaped like this before and looks almost like its breaking off from the main bubble
    this is it small too, normally its even bigger than this, would be cool if its splitting, i know my candy canes are pretty much done splitting maybe now its the bubbles turn.

    guess ill just keep an eye on it

    Bubble corals reproduce through budding and spreading to adjacent rock, attaching and growing a skeleton. I would say you could have a new bubble in a little while.

    would be pretty cool if it does that! i know it has made countless new bubble but never a new head. Can't wait to see what happens :D

    thanks! i really hope it splits so i can trade it in for store credit since i dont want two bubbles :D

    yea! i thought watching the candy canes were neat but i cant wait for the bubble!
