I bought a bubble coral about a month ago and it just never really fully came out and has slowly been receding. it is in low/ moderate flow are in middle depth of tank. my lighting is in signature. it just seems to be deflating but the colors are good on it. any movement suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Give it a week or 2 and it should open up.

I bought a bubble coral 3 months ago. After a month it still hadn't opened up. I had to tear apart my tank to get a cream angel out and the bubble sat on the floor for the better part of a day (out of water). I had planned on tossing it, but it had a good size base and worked well to shim the rockwork work in my new scape. To my surprise a week later I noticed a couple small bubbles starting to show. Three weeks later it looked great and has been growning well since. I guess I'm saying just don't give up on it.

I would say low/mod flow and mod lighting. I kinda shletered mine til it started to take off and have moved it to a higher light area now.

my guess here is it doesn't like the flow. lower the flow the better. Moderate is probably too much for it. Even if it's in low, it can't be unidirectional, it needs some amount of random flow, but low.

Test your flow pattern (a pinch of sand works well or momentarily use an air stone for bubbles) if you don't already know where low is in your tank setup.

It also needs good lighting, not sure if your bulbs are good enough, but even still, I'd lean towards a flow problem.

all nitrate nitrite phosphate and all those types of levels are set and all other corals are doing well i think its just a placement issue.
