Bubble Coral?

    Any idea what this little white guy might be. It just showed up. My only thought is that perhaps it's a bubble coral?

    Did you have a bubble coral there before?

    Nope, but I did just add a few new corals. Didn't know if it could hitch hike or not. Never had any bubble coral, so I'm not really sure how it spreads.

    are you talking about the leaf type algae ? maybe i'm missing something

    Sure as heck looks like bubble coral to me ..Strange that it just appeared .

    As far as I can tell it looks exactly like a bubble coral.

    Ok, glad I'm not crazy. I've been staring at it all day and cannot for the life of me figure out how it got in my tank. Can they move? I put a new piece of frogspawn in a few weeks ago and remember seeing something similar to this on the side... i thought it was just a branch of the frogspawn that was either starting or dying... Now it shows up on the rock about a foot above the frogspawn. So strange...

    It's base almost looks like a nem's foot.... could it be some type of anemone?
