Bubble doesnt look right (ate anthias)? (photo!)

Thanks for the feedback all. Just didnt know if this was normal acclimating behavior or what.

I know you meant that as short for anemone, but we're not talking about BTAs. We're talking about a bubble coral... LOL!

 

Wow thats a great looking bubble. My fiancee wants one really bad. Great picture of him feeding.

 

Thanks, I guess he's healthier than I thought. Just didnt expect to see the tentacles out as much as they are. I guess the pic would have been better if it wasnt a $20 fish, but I guess the color is dramatic.

The hardest part was finding an area of the tank with gentle enough flow.

This was the one coral my wife really wanted as well. I found it made a VERY good bribe to stock up on a bunch of other corals as well... ;D

 

Your bubble coral looks healthy to me. I think you might be confused on the difference between a pearl bubble coral and a standard bubble coral...? Your coral appears to be a pearl bubble and that is the most they will extend.

 

It is a pearl... I guess I didnt know there was a difference. Thanks for the info!
