I've been struggling the past couple days with bubbles in tube of my overflow box. I didn't have time to get it out before work today and it wasn't very big but should I be worried about a flood when I get home? I left the house at about 12:15.

May have to add a siphon pump like the continuous siphon o'flows use. I'm assuming you have the type with a "U" tube?

If it is a U-tube style and not a weir than bubbles in the tube means not enough flow through the box. Increase the flow from the return pump if possible so that the water moving through the tube pushes trapped air out. If it's a weir type box you will need to add a pump like Casey suggested. Aqua-lift pumps are pretty cheap but order a diaphragm replacement kit at the same time. You'll probably be needing it in about 6 months.
