    Thats the first time in 20+ yrs that I hear that a BTA needs low light. Luna

    Thats odd, because I never said that. I said of the nems, they have the least dependence on light. They still require moderate to high light, but they can do well under less light than people lead you to believe. I've never had a BTA go for high light, of the several I have owned each has preffered a shaded area near the bottom. Regardless if it's under the 1,000W on my big tank or the 96W in my biocube 29G, or the 250W I had on a 30G cube. I've even kept them in my refugium under a CF home depot light. None of the "rules" are set in stone.
