    Scientific Name: Plerogyra sinuosa
    Classification: LPS
    Common Names: Bubble Coral

    Description:
Bubble corals are characterized by having large water filled bubbles
(vesicles) covering large sharp sepia. The vesicles are expanded
during the day and look like cream colored grapes. During the night
the vesicles are deflated and tentacles become apparent.
    Veron:
Colonies are flabello-meandroid with valleys more or less connected
by a light blistery coenosteum. Sometimes living parts of colonies
are separated by dead basal parts. Vesicles are the size of grapes
and usually have the shape of grapes but may be tubular, bifurcated
or irregular, depending primarily on the state of inflation. Color
    is cream or bluish-gray.
    Care:
Hardiness: Bubble corals are moderately hardy and sometimes take a
while to adapt to the aquarium conditions and start to grow.
Lighting: Prefers moderate to strong lighting, but will tolerate fairly
    low light conditions.
    Water Current:
Bubble coral prefer low to moderate water currents and lack of
bubble extension may be related to excessive water current.
Temperature: Does well within a range of at least 75º to 84º F.
    p.h: 8.3 to 8.4
    gravity: 1.023 and 1.025.
    Aggressiveness:
Moderate. Bubble coral packs a fairly potent sting, but its sweeper
tentacles are not much longer than the bubbles, so it can be positioned
fairly close to its neighbors. The picture to the right shows typical
    sweeper tentacle size.
    Feeding:
Bubble coral is photosynthetic, but seem to benefit more than many LPS
corals from occasional direct feeding of shrimp or other meaty food. Feeding up to once a week will result in faster growth.
    Supplements:
Maintaining correct calcium levels is important for skeletal development.

The White Bubble Coral is a beautiful LPS coral that originates from the
reefs of the Indo-Pacific. It has a white-ridged hard skeleton that can
be seen when the polyps are deflated. When inflated, the large fleshy polyps will cover the entire skeleton, and are white or yellowish in color. Like many other LPS corals, they do posses sweeper tentacles that can harm other corals within reach. So remember when we put these in our aquariums that they can be aggressive to other corals. Although thier tenticles rarely extend furtherthen the buble polyps thems selves they are still harmfull to other corals. The fleshy polyps of Bubble Corals are very fragile and will puncture easily. Be careful when handling these corals, to only handle them by the hard skeleton.
Conclusion: In my hours of reading i would have to say this would b a good beginer coral. Just remember to keep good water quality, good peramiters, and mostly remember when we place these friends in our home aquariums to keep them a fairly decent space between them and any other coral/polyps. For theytoo do have stingers and well may harm them. I have read a few articles as well saying some clowns will host in these corals. I really hope this article (thread) does help anyone interested in purchasing one of these friends. Remember, adiquit lighting, moderate waterflow and spacing between corals.... ENJOY YOUR FRIEND MOSTLY
