I could be wrong, but it doesn't look like bubble algae to me. Looks more like hair algae with oxygen bubbles developing. I had a similar thing myself in my tank a few months ago. I solved the problem by running chemi-pure elite in a phosban reactor - it removed phosphates from my water and starved out the algae. No sign of it now in my tank.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I have run into the same thing.

Two things you can do. Well, three things. Work on decreasing nutrients. That is obvious. Decrease your lighting to nothing for three days or so. Then one or two on. Then three or four off. That sort of thing, until it goes away. Also, taking the rock work out and doing the toothbrush thing in some premixed saltwater (or post water change water). The last is a bit invasive, but I have had to do it twice. Then I figured out if I got rid of my light, the problem went away for good.

That is what I have but I also have a weird red sponge that covered the hair algae and the bubbles..Wish I had a cam man this is way to cool..It is for sure not bubble algae though..the one peice does resemble it in a way..but it aint.....if ya cant see the pics check the activex in your machine....try here....PC Pitstop: Free PC Scans and Tune-up Utilities. If ya dont have activex workin right it should fix ya up....that was the reason I couldnt see the vids and didnt get to vote....Except for the person that Steve Wright paid me five bux and a monti frag to vote for....Later People,

My skimmer puts little bubbles all over the tank for like 10 minutes after cleaning it.....

It sorts itself out but takes a while for all the tiny ones to disappear. I've tried putting a sock over it and tried all kinds of sponge materials but having anything near the return makes it just leak over the side onto the floor, lol.
