i have a new red sea berlin X2 turbo. i have had it in the tank for about 4 days give or take. its skimming wet or dry foam, which ever i choose great. its putting tons and tons of micro bubbles back into the tank. i have done what the manual says. i have tried almost everything to get it to stop. now i dont know if that would be due to the fact that i use well water with a water conditioner added to it insted of RO water. or if its the pump, because the impeller ear was broke so i glued to to the shaft. it works but it wont pump water until i pull the whole pump out of the water and get air in it then it will start working. maybe somebody can help me thanks.

i have had issues with other skimmers give off bubbles, but i just hid them in the fug. you should probly get another impeller for the future cause that will break off at some point. but till then you can use a filter sock on the outtake that seems to catch all the bubbles but wont look to good in the tank. you could try cutting a chuck out and using it as a screen some where on the outtake but you will need to keep it clean of junk

+1 on the filter sock if you cant get it to stop.
But on a more serious note, you need to get a new impeller ASAP. That's not something you can just glue. The extra weight of the glue will cause an imbalance. Which in turn will damage the shaft, bearing, and pump/motor.

that wont last, your better off buying a new pump

after you fix the skimmer try putting the drain of the skimmer on the opposite side of the sump where your pump is to put water back to the main tank

+2 Once the impeller is comprimised, you need to get a new impeller. Luna

nope, instead of buying a whole new pump try to just buy the impeller, or maybe 2 for the future
