bubbles coming out of my seaclone 100

    hi im new to salt water i got a 20 gallon with a used skimmer seaclone 100 little bubbles come out in to the tank what can i do to stop it.and is it a good idea to put a uv sterilizer in the tank please let me know thank you:)

    This happened to me too. I was told by my LFS that is had something to do with using tap water or the skimmer just has to get broke in. I also heard that it was the aloe vera in the Stress Coat that I was using, so I switched to Prime. There are still small, very small bubbles that come out. I got a piece of filter sponge and I believe zip tied it to the spout where it comes out into the tank. This filter I assume filters out the bubbles, lol. It stopped the problem and you can't see it inside the tank. Well, I bought an ro/di system and never took the sponge off so I can't really say if it has to do with water or not.
