I've had my tank running for more than a month. Yesterday, I noticed some small bubbles that were attached to one of my pieces of LR. There were about 30 scattered on the surface. I also noticed bubbles randomly floating to the surface from the sand at the bottom.... Have I just not noticed this before or is something happening:eek:?

normal, it's the nitrogen bubbles floating up from your sandbed all a part of the cycle I actually just kind of stirred the sand bed in my 90g the other day to release a bunch of them cause it was a constant thing going on and 24hrs later their back in full force just your sand becoming live

I may be wrong, but it could also be cyno bacteria. I believe they make very small bubbles through their respiration which appear on rocks and sand.
