bubbles in tank

    after a year of crashs( temp, hair algae,ect) was ready to call it quits, but thought one more time,was dosing vodka for hair algae might be working not sure,5 weeks in but got a new tank scrubbed all hair off everything set it up plumbing is different on new tank old 75 had hoses new 90 has pvc problem is i seem to be getting micro bubbles,dont know if old rehashed wet/dry is enough seems ok just the bubbles any ideas on this?

    not an asap question bubbles wont crash a tank but there could be multiple reasons for bubbles....more than likely air is seeping in from one of your fittings if it isnt sealed

    +1 - bubbles are completely harmless.

    Do you have a bubble trap between your skimmer outlet and the return pump?

    Without some more info, advice would be a guess at best. Can you find the source of the bubbles? Are they entering the tank through the return? Moved to general forum.

    seems the bubbles are comong in thru the intake pipe you can see them in pic,how can i put a bubble trap in this sump its a old wet/dry or should i think about going to a reg sump,iput a bunch of extra rock in the middle that seemed to help but still have some any ideas?
