I had the same problem with air bubbles on a lot of the rock and even on my green button polyps. When I began running carbon and then Seachem Gel the bubbles stopped. I alway know when to change the carbon, the bubbles start to come back 8)

if thats the case then the doc's are causing the nitrogen bubbles, just keep using the seachem gel. i myself use it. and like tangster said increase the flow inside the tank. no sand storms though

The lights are playign a trick but that looks liek bubble algae. I know it is not from your previous posts.... It is strange but could be bacteria in the sand bed doing its hting.

YOu may want to stir up your sand bed to get any trapped gas out. However be careful because if too much is released it coudl make the tank toxic from what I hear.

Cyano will do that also. I ahd it on the sand bed like that and also strung up off the rocks like little ballons. When the cyano was gone so were the bubbles.

i wouldnt go crazy and stir the sand bed, releasing hydrogen sulfide would not be good. there are differnent leaves of the sand bed that are beneficial the the tanks enviroment. if possible take a hyperdermic needle and collect a sample and find a chemist to analyze before you get carried away. the bubbles could be CO2, hydro or nitro which you dont want to introduce in the water column in abundance at one time. depending on how new the sand or tank is they might just be regular air trapped under the sand and is just now coming out.
