Most likely your nitrates and phophates are not what the tests are showing, whats probably happening is that the nitrates and phosphates are being consumed by the algae you have therefore giving you a false reading on your tests

All new tanks go through phases of algae like corralline said, this is just one them try to remove as much of it as you can by handand hopefully between you and your cuc you will get a handle on it

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
It does look like typical cyano and GHA common to newer systems.
I am surprised to see so many bubbles though considering you have a MP10.

Unfortunately the resolutions to these typical initial algae blooms is slow.

You can try adding some GFO, basting all the rocks off with a turkey baster daily and then clean the mechanical filtration once the water clears. Some sea urchins are excellent GHA eaters such as the Tuxedo urchin, but they knock everything over that is not glued down.

Where did you get this rock?

I would also try raising the pH to greater than 8.0 24/7 (these tanks sometimes run low pH). Also raise the magnesium. Do both adjustments early.

Do you have a media basket?

It does not look like Dino to me.

Well my mp10 is running at 75%. Maybe if i put it at 100% it will blow them away but i did not want to do that because i thought it could be bubble algae and the spore things bursting was not a food thing , ha? Same as blasting them with a baster? What do you think?

The rock i got at LFS but was already in a cycled tank. I first got green water 2 months and got a uv nanno zapp and got it under control. Sont know if that got something to do.

I run the stock media basket with sponge, carbon and ceramic rings. I wash away sponge every week and change carbon each month with vertex carbon. Also got a bag in there of phosban. That i put in there when i got green water. So any otherideas with these comments are greatly appeeciated.

Definitely not bubble algae. Has bubbles but it's not bubble algae.

Here is an ID thread for algae.

I would remove the rings, try some chemipure elite and or purigen.

I just rebutted my 28 gallon JBJ and having a small algae issue at a little over 3 months, but I have gone through Dino, Cyano, Bubble algae at one time or another in this tanks life span of going on 5 years.

I had already researched it but thanks for the new links. What i see is that it is a mix of things.. Hard to tell what really is.

    Do you recommend I run
    Sponge
    Carbon
    Chemi Pure Elite

    In my media basket?

So i should just wait then and see if it falls of while i keep pulling it away and 25% weekly water change?
Thanks for all you r help really :)

My media basket or overflow chamber contained.

    Sponge on top.
    Chemipure elite or GFO next.
    Purigen on the bottom.

+1 more flow - gfo - ph increase. this is typical of new systems - cyano loves phos and nit.

take your time and it will go away if you keep a steady maintenance scheduled.

I had the same problem with my older tank. Could never figure it out! I ended up changing tanks.
