    I don't know if it's too late or even if you want to try this, but Fauna Marine came out with a new product not too long ago called Ultra Algae X. It is designed for reef aquariums and will kill all macro algae, including GHA and bryopsis. It's a little expensive, but has been shown to work. You just need to follow the dosing instruction exactly. Here it is on Ebay, if you google it, you can find some websites that sell it.
