    noticed these two things whipping around in the flow on my montipora, cant tell if its a bug or algae of some sort

    Might be dinoflaggelates, remove them right away.

    do not blow it away, just suck it up in a baster or large syringe. You don't want to spread that junk=)

    thanks guys, i just got home from work and the algae is now gone, one of the inverts must of eaten it while i was gone
