here's a pic of my 55 take it and do whatever with and post it back here the one i like the most i'll try to duplicate when i set up my tank

This should be fun! What are you looking for? A wall, two islands?

Two islands with a decent sized cave in one or both would be cool.

When I had my 55 I tried 2 islands. It didn't turn out good. Not enough depth on a 55g. I've seen it done though. But its really hard to get it to look good

I scrolled through a bunch of aquascaping postes along time ago to find the basic ideas of what I liked. I then tried to accomplish it and found I constantally wanted to change it. I Then went back and took a few weeks to look at many other design ideas av8bluwater here had a design I liked it so I designed something that was more suited my tank for my liking and took a day to hammer, drill, peg, and pvc the sculpture together. How much working knowledge do you have with any of this or are you trying to keep away from that? There is the caves you can do piliars, options friend options.

I was going for two islands. my bubble is on a wedge shaped rock and very difficult to place. I found it would sit well on this rock, but the only spot I could find for this rock made a bridge out of my islands...

I have some space going behind this. I have a nano blowing through it. If I had it over (I didn't want to disturb the substrate too much), I would have pushed it back all the way and built it into more cave like than it is on the two sides. But all in all, I like it.

I do not like where the clam is. But nothing to do about that till the upgrade.

I thought the way you approached the 10 gallon was a good idea
you set up and took pictures of various aquascapes and asked people which they thought looked best

something like that for the 55 would be a good way forward IMO
