So far I havent been able to order the correct legs for my fixtrue to set on and yesterday my tanks temp hit 82 so I had to do something. Last night I went to Home Depot grabbed some 1x6 and 1x2 textured spray pain and screws to build a 3 sided canopy. I had the guys at the depot cut my boards for me. They did it for free yay!! but Ill post some pictures of what I did it looks pretty cool i used the stone spray paint on it.

how far will they be when the canopy is finished and lamps are in there?

They are about 4" above the water line now but will be almost 8" above when the canopy is built I wish i could hang them but Im renting so the less holes the better. I ordered some legs that will give it the extra 2" boost above the 1x6
