Well after trying a handful of nano skimmers on a 12gallon aquapod I've decided to try my hand at it. Just 1 question, what's a good affordable pump for foam fractioning?

The aero pump is tiny and is used in the hydor slim skim and cpr hob. It has gotten good reviews thus far.

I too was disappointed, with the CPR SR3 in my BIocube 29. Which, by the way, is for sale to anyone who would like it ;D.

As for a good Nano pump, have you tried the AquaEuro Nano?

I recently purchased this little baby, and it works great IMO. It fits in the second chamber of my BC with room to spare, so i modified the media tray with egg crate so I could still accommodate mechanical filtration. If you have not tried this one, I would highly recommended. No mods necessary. Motor is quiet, no micro bubbles, not overpowering for a nano environment, easy to set up, oh, and did I mention quiet :-X

looks like a cool skimmer. the tough part is the height in this tank i think i haveto go custom in order to get and kind of bubble column.
