Building a refugium out of a wet/dry sump???

    pc lights will work. try to get a daylight 6500k to 10k should be fine. but you can pick up a clipon fixture and 26w cfl flood light for probly 20bucks. if you can find chaeto from a LFS it should have copepods in it.

    alrite good it already has two 10k bulbs its an extra light that came with my tank when i bought it that i replaced with t5s and now i have 4 t5 bulbs on each side so it shuld do pretty good now...
    I cnt wait to get a refugium goin!! I'm thinkn about addin a screen to the return side to grow turf algae to help keep nitrates and phosphates down that way I can have an even more stable system. U think that would be a bad idea??

    bad idea for your existing setup, if you want to do that make it in a totally seperat unit.
