Ok so after LOTS of reading I finally decided to make my own stand, I only wish I had started years ago. It was so much easier than I thought, and this thing will hold a truck. Heres some pics it's 48x48x30, before I put the tank on it I added a 3/4" plywood top, and a piece of foam padding just because it's my 1st acrylic tank and everyone told me I should.I'll skin it later.BTW cost of materials 22.80 in wood, best 20$ stand I ever had. The 1 thing if dealing with atm is the thickness of the tank is 1" my mp 40's are only good for up to 3/4" so I need a resolution for that now.

my cat always wants in the pic

I just painted the frame with a semi-gloss white. It was a primer and paint in one and I did two coats.

Any ideas what I could use for flow? It's 1" thick so my mp 40's wont work, and its only 12" tall. I was looking at the tunze wavebox and I saw it's 11 3/4" tall but my waterline wont actually be that high with the overflow. So im kind of stumped atm, for good flow options.
