    Joking, of course. ;)

The wavebox might actually work. I do think you can adjust the height of the wave via controller?

The wavebox must be fully submerged though correct? With my overflow im only looking at about 11" of water height, the wavebox being 11 1/2 tall

Great work on the stand - that thick wood will hold some water!
I absolutely love that tank. Where did you get it?

I hadn't noticed you are in columbus. Looks like I have a few reefing friends when I move to college next year? :) I know Fishyfinder lives somewhere in Cbus too.

you'll have to go with something besides a MP40 then. Tunze Streams, or other powerheads that can do it. A wave box still needs room for waves so 2-3" and your tank is already full at 11".

you could always figure out a final placement and then router down to 3/4". Don't know if that is a possibility.... I assume this is a frag tank? Not sure how and where you were going to put MP40s for flow with 12".... not that you can't. My coral grower has long shallow tanks he has Vortechs on.

You guys are killing me by the way... I have fantasys of a 4'x4'x2' floating around in my head...

    Thank you. That is art!

As for your pump problem... some of my ideas are DIY and would destroy the look of that tank... I think you will need to go the pump route. There is a wavebox from years back that might work on a rimless like that. It is the one with the external pump and belt drive. Can't for the life of me remember the name... something with '2000?' :p

EDIT - FOUND IT... for what it's worth:
