Nice setup. I am doing a very similar build. We actually have the same tank although I'm not handy enough to build my own stand. I'm also running a radion for my light. how have you got yours programed?

As for the refugium light I just bought one of those macro grow lights from coral life. I heard you can get a clamp light from home depot and a cfl bulb in the 5700k range. Not sure about the wattage but it sounds like a lot of people are doing things like that from what I've been reading.

as for the program i literally sat down and spent 4 hours creating mine its really quite nice and it give me what i want which is im able to enjoy the tank beyond the 8 hours being as im never home when the tank is on its brightest. so for example i have it one 3% custom moonlight phase for most of the night and the tank is completly off from like 2-5am i think.

as for the fuge i prolly should have done that but i went out and bought a little led light that has 5 whites and 5 royal blues for 30$ at my lfs. unfortionetly its not working with my timer cause it has one of those stupid buttons not a switch so once it goes off it never comes back on i make just leave it on 24/7 i dont know.

also if you would like i can export my graph and send it to you via email then you can upload it into yours and just hit demo it would give you in my opinion a great starting point or heck you could keep it like that. my tank is fish only right now so i dont have any issues everything is growing at a nice rate but not to much algae just enough to know its working lol. i think my max brightness is somewhere around 70% just let me know if you would like it.

So it's been two months since a update the new build went together very well and all seemed to good to be true so I added fish. As I think I posted of earlier then it went down hill to fast one of my fish from the previous setup up became agressive he killed 8 chromis 2 Anthias and some others also I lost a mandarin and a really old bi color who didnt take well to the move. Nothing was doing well turned out my amonia was running a Lil high from all the recent fish tragedies so I did my 20% water change 3 days later I started getting red slime after a week of fighting It I unplugged my skimmer took my media out and ran chemi clean waited a while cause I got busy then did my water change and added a new bag of media chemo

Looking very clean now! Sorry to hear about all of the losses. May I ask what type of fish went rogue?
