    Would there be any draw backs to arrange my bulbs like this
    Front
    Aqua Blue ++
    Super Actinic
    460 Actinic
    420 purple
    10000k Daylight
    10000k Daylight
    Back

    Right now they are set up like this
    Front
    Aqua Blue ++
    Super actinic 460
    10000k Daylight
    10000k Daylight
    420 Purple
    460 Actinic
    Back

    I just want more blueish in the front.. but will this slow down coral growth at all by putting the daylights in the back..

    Let me know thanks

    I dont know what difference there would be with the bluer bulbs in the front versus the back. I have mine spaced

    front
    10000
    actinic
    10000
    actinic
    back

    It would depend on how wide your tank is. If it's like a 55 and about 12in. wide, then probably not, but if it's wider the spectrum will probably vary a little, although my guess would be overall it won't matter that much. You may get some different PAR readings, but I'm not sure.
