bulb combo?

    Another drawback to going to blue...It makes everything in your tank look blue.

    Well the blue +'s are not full actinic. But the more blue the more the colors stand out. Perhaps I'll just get a aqua special with the orders and see what looks best...

    LOL.....I don't really like the look of an ultrablue tank myself, but it's whatever suits the person making it, as long as the needs of the inhabitants are taken care of.

    You know what also...really blue tanks are hard to take pictures of.

    If you look at its spectrum, it has hardly anything outside the blue area, and it's really not fair to the corals to consider them a replacement for daylight bulbs, even when massed.
