bulb combo

Going to place my order for my lights. Tek 4x39 watt t5's. I like the blue look and wanted to run this by you guys.

2-ATI Blue plus
1-KZ Fiji Purp.
1-ATI Blue special

What do you guys think?

 

Good selection, if you want less red than the fiji produces get an UVL Actinic White.

 

IMO, good combo except for the Fiji purple. I don't like the look of it, but it is very personal. Some people love it, I'm not one of them. I would do two Blue+ and two Blue Specials, but that's just me.

 

Thanks for your input guys. This is a first for me with t5's. I saw a picture here with someone using the same bulb combo. It looked nice. Just wanna make sure I get the colors to "POP" in my tank.

 

I run that exact combo in an ATI fixture. The color is nice - I would like a bit more blue out if it though - it seems a little flat to me sometimes but I do get really nice growth and good color.
