Bulb placement on TEK 8 x 54

I just got my tek 8 x 54 fixture in and I am trying to figure out the bulb placement. Do you put all actinic blue on one switch and actinic white on the other switch or do you put white then blue then keep going in that order. How should they be placed. The middle 4 are on one switch and the outer 4 on on the other switch.

 

imo, outer 4 all blue, inners all white

 

That makes sense and that way you have more control but I just wanted to make sure. Thanks Iraf I knew you got one and was hoping you would chime in. K+

 

I think it would be fine either way, having all actinics on one switch will emphasize the dawn/dusk, but I have 2 Actinic+ and 2 Aquablue+ on the same timer for my dawn/dusk and I really like it, not too blue heavy but IME just right. Bulb combinations usually are in the eye of the beholder.

I'm in the same boat, but not sure which bulbs to get. I'd like to get into some corals soon (like within the year, cause tank isn't started yet) but for now just fish.

How about a KZ fuji Purple. I have one in my T5 system and it brings out colors on my corals that I was lacking without them.
