Bulbs-n-Ballasts

Hello everyone!! I just have a couple of questions regarding my lighting fixture. I have Current USA Outer Orbit Fixture 2x150W HQI & 2X130W Compact Fluorescents 48 inch and i was wondering what kind of ballasts does it come with and what are the best bulbs i can buy to get the most PAR out of them. I was told that they come with M80 Ballasts but i haven't seen this on any of my searches.....can anyone help me?

 

IMO, to say that brand X is the best bulb that man has produced, is the same as to only read the first chapter of a book and claim that you read the whole book or know what the whole book is about. Yes, there are "tests" out there stating that this bulb produces this amount of PAR and this amount of Lux. Just b/c the bulb are very expensive doesnt mean that they are the best. Every tank/system is different and a big factor is the depth of each tank and the quality of the ballast. There are so many other factors to consider when buying a bulb and to state that brand X is the best bulb around is far fetched. As far as your ballast issue, contact the company and address your concern to them, am sure that they will be more than happy to help you out. Good luck Luna

Thx Luna for ur quick response.....i was just wondering which bulbs work best with which ballasts....i'm not lookin for the best bulb out there just want the most output....but for that i need to know which is the best combo with bulb and ballast...i just found out that i have M81 ballasts...thx again for the response.
