A reactors size means little and if you send enough Gas to it then it will keep up . Most just do not under stand the Ca and how it works . Its the mount of CO2 bubbled into the reactor that dictates the richness or the effluent's dissolution that is fed into the aquarium system.. The Size of a reactor just means that you can go longer between media recharges. I took a old aqua medic and got it running on a 2,000 gal system at the shop a couple of yrs ago and it kept the levels rock solid I never had any issues running the levels at the extreme numbers I do . I am not sure what they are doing there now and how its being maintained ? But I'd go through a 20 lb bottle of CO2 every 3 to 4 months or so.... And about entire 15lb bottle of carribasea reactor media . But DKH was at 14 to 15 and Ca was at 500 on average all the time..I had to bump the levels every month or so with my addiives .. But If you need ? P/M or e/m me and I'll explain the balling methoed and how to get it going . Its a lot of work and if you have access to a diastolic pump it will make it easier ..

I agree. I have kept my KH at 13 and a ph at 8.4 at its peak in the day and saw a lot of algae die off.
