    The Pukani is the best I've come across. I took a gamble buying it online after finding chunk after chunk of just heavy old rock at the LFS's. This stuff is lighter and so very porous. Check this thread back. Several of the guys have bought the same rock, called Fiji Pukani......& you are #26!!

    Anyone know the diff. between the Ushio and XM MH bulbs? I am going to order some back ups just to have on hand!

    kd, I've always used Ushio, they're good. I don't know much about XM but I do know Radium is most likely the best of all three if not top-of-the-line.
    (probably what OceanP1 uses, of course :laugh5: )

    The XM bulbs , especially in the 10k ones re one of the highest PAR bulbs you can get. I , and many other local reefers use the xm10k 250w SE's with very good results.
