Craigslist is great, but I think I am going to have a hard time finding one with side overflows. My current tank is a craigslist buy, which has been great, but I think I might have to special order this guy.

as for securing the rocks together i know people drill holes in the two rocks and use either wooden dowels or plastic rods to secure them to one another or you could use this special glue used to attach frags to the rock work too maybe even zipties if you could hide it beneath the rock work? and as for the overflows, have you looked into drilling the tank yourself...its not as hard as it sounds or i know you can even take the tank to a glass specializing place and theyll drill it for some pretty cheap prices

That's not a bad idea actually. I wouldn't want to it myself, but I do know of a place that I've called before about that.

Man, I just get a little nervous about tank modifications like drilling especially when the tank is going to be in the wall. The last thing I'd need is it leaking everywhere.

I am now pretty sure I am going to do a 210 gallon. I think it will accomplish the build I am trying to achieve and plus....I just want a big tank too :)

I am very interested in LED lighting, but don't know a lot about it. I talked to my guy at the LFS, but his is just one opinion of many. If I were to run LEDs what would I need for a 210 in order to have SPS coral? Not dominant SPS, but to where I could start them off at least halfway into the tank.

One main reason for interest in LED is energy consumption as well as heat output. I do not want to create a firehazard in-wall.

Good luck, I guess check out craigslist for the 210 and bring it to a glass shop and as for LEDs I don't know much but I do know a lot of people on here talk about RapidLED for LED fixtures and they usually help you out to an extent if you email them;)

Also I don't know but I'm sure someone may chime in, have you thought of putting 2 HOB overflows (one on each side inside the wall and running the plumbing through the wall into the sump ?

    I've decided on a tank. It is a 215 gallon. 72 1/2" x 24 1/2" x 29"

It will have dual overflows on the end.

I am not 100% on the lighting yet, but I think I am going to have T5s as the workhorse for the tank. I can get a great deal on a 72inch fixture from Aquatic Life.

These are the ones I am looking at.
AquaticLife T5 HO 6-Lamp Light Fixture w/ Lunar LEDs

With these as my main lights I figure i can do LPS and softies no problem, but I would love to do SPS and clams down the road. Would it be a decent idea to get the T5s and then add some LED spotlights as supplemental?
