The I-Tech cones are incredibly awesome. I don't think anybody has had one on a live tank long enough to see how well they are going to do long term but short term so far makes them look very very promising long term.

If they work great in the short term, they will do fine in the long run too. Well, provided they don't fall apart. Which I can't see happening.

A guy from our local club as the I Tech Cone. Looks nice and he is so far happy with it. I do know that he got the ATB PPW for the Sicce pump though..
My goal is to try to convince Bob at Eshopps to let me "test" out one of their new Snow Cone skimmers..... :D

Any pics? While you are at it, PM make their line of needle wheels too. I've heard plenty of good about Sicce pumps, and not so good. Maybe just internet chatter. Plastic is the same for all skimmers, the pump becomes the important piece. Just make sure to get a good quite reliable one. You already know my opinion on what kind of skimmer I like. The good thing is that you will not loose any money on the Bullet.

P/M me if you want ? I think Its a pretty simple fix I'm 90% syre of it All depends on how you have the skimmer set up..

pm sent. I would prefer to get this working consistently and will take any suggestions, I won't want to drop $500 for a new skimmer.

Tangster will get you squared away with that.
I was just building a 6" tall stand to put my Bullet 1 on inside the sump.
However, the 5 minute epoxy hardened just in time for me to fix a golf putter and attach only 2 of the 4 legs of the stand. I'll get more epoxy tomorrow and finish up.

Have you cleaned the injector lately?
If it gets a bit of dirt/ solid piece of carbon for instance it won't make fine bubbles properly.

    I would check that.
I have to clean my neck every few days so I know what you mean there. I try to keep the water just below the bottom of the neck. If it gets much lower it will still work it just gets the neck dirtier faster....cuz it doesn't make it into the cup.
It took me months to figure out where this skimmer wants to be.
I never really have to touch the air valve. I keep it almost to the finest bubble setting.
I've read somewhere that to truly break in this skimmer you need to wet skim for a few days. Making sure you keep the wet foam going as much as possibly. .. Then adjust it back to dry. I never did that but, it makes sense.
Mine does not foam continuously either but, I don't think it's suppose to.
