So i bought a bullet goby about a week ago at my lfs, a pretty big one at that, about 2.5 inches
They told me he would clean up the sand completely, and he has
    It looks great
    But theres one problem
All of my life rock is now covered in sand, and it does not look very appealing
I was wondering is there a way to keep the sand off? Or do i need to remove the fish?

You can always take a turkey baster and blast the sand off the rocks. My guess is that it will happen again, so you essentially have 3 options: live with the live rock being covered, blast it off every so often, or get rid of the goby

It is much better to use Nassarius snails or a Tiger Conch to keep your sandbed clean. Sand sifters will constantly "throw" sand and there is really no way to stop this. They will also kill corals by doing this (if you have any). I am sorry to say that you will have to remove the fish.

I may try the turkey baster idea, because he has kept the sand wayyyyy clean then snails or crabs ever have for me
