Bummed about my dogs.

So Java is going to the shelter tomorrow. She still has a littler mate up there that is just like her that never got adopted. So at least she will have family. My wife has been crying all week. I just do it when nobody is around. She had plenty of peanut butter and jerky tonight. Sammy doesn't get it why she doesn't get any. So that's that.

 

I'm really sorry. I know there's nothing I can say to make it better, but I truly am sorry.

 

Thanks... and thank you to everyone for all your kind words and advice. Only dog lovers get it. My dogs have always been family to me.... but ya, there is a line obviously.

amen to that. i have a pit mix and is the sweetesthing you could imagine. not a mean or tense bone in hre body even when provoked

very sorry to hear about the situation but you have to trust you made the right deciscion. for you , your family, and your dog.

 

awwww man so sorry that must be the hardest thing to do, just like a parent giving up a kid for adopiton same kind of thing, so hard

Thanks Zach. Taking her to the shelter today was a lot harder than euthanizing my last dog.

 

She'll be settled in and happy in no time! And you'll always love her and know you did the right thing.

 

Well Me and the kids brought home a stray last night that appeared in the dog door at my wife's sister and while trying to correct him he has turned on me and my wife in less then 12 hrs at the house. Don't think he will be staying but we'll see.......sucks cause he is a pretty cool dog.

 

Course she had another dog she really wanted me to keep in mind. Dog seemed pretty cool. I have a friend that was a K-9 handler. Now she trains dogs for peanut alergies. Well she comes across some good dogs, that wash out of the program, for program reasons, notbehavioural ones. Sammy is going to be lonely for a while.
