Butterflyfish quit eating?

    On wednesday I added a yellow longnose butterflyfish to my 75G reef, he was eating at the store and was eating the first couple days hes been in the tank, but now all of a sudden he stopped eating and has hiding more:confused: thanks!

    Butterfly fish are notorious about quitting cold turkey.... Try Copepods to get them to eat

    What are you feeding it?

    Some fish we keep have specialized diets, and even though they may eat whatever we give them, they will slowly die from malnutrition if that one ingredient isn't included.

    Your long-nose butterfly isn't one of those; however, it requires a large variety of meaty foods to keep it eating.
