I will admit they are good skimmers if your not getting a re-branded skimmer. but there are better options out there that won't help support his illegal business deals.

 

thanks 2in10...the thing that really gets my goat is i went there to talk and was hoping for an explaination....if he had said it comes from his supplier online and his product in store is marked up for profit i could live with that but he went all nut job on me because he knows he's wrong.

I'm going to let the better business buerau deal with him and the by law officers will be looking into his smoking in store which is illegal as well and carries a $5000 fine

i think it would have been in his best interest to just give me my $200 and never had to deal with me again.

 

This is more what I am concerned about. I wish there was a way to put a banner across his website or a big link to the article so nobody would ever buy from him again. Hopefully he gets jail time and there is nobody to take his place.

 

lol only a matter of time. I've dealt with this guy personally in Winnipeg as well. He's so arrogant its gross. He made a sexist comment to my wife right in front of me as I was ABOUT to purchase something in his store.

He's cocky, and arrogant, and just down right rude at most times. Always talking down to everyone. Glad he's facing fines, and I hope he loses his store ... that will make room for someone else in our market.

 

That's a very accurate description....hard to believe people actually go back once they deal with him once.

Just pass the article around to all the reefing forums that you know of.

 

But what can you really do when you have two LFS' that actually stock saltwater livestock.

Its not like our neighbors to the south here in the US that have the opportunity for prime livestock, online, usually shipped free overnight anywhere in the continental US. No one ships to us, and if they do, live arrive gurantees are void.

Sometimes you need to just bite the bullet on jerks or your hobby pays the price.

I personally want the best pieces for my tank ... even if it means putting up with some douchebag employees lol.
