    Hey All,

I'm planning on upgrading my tank soon. My LFS is having a sale in December where all tanks, stands, canpoies, etc. will be at dealer cost (so they say!). But I also feel like I could possibly find a better deal online.

Has anybody bought a glass tank (75 gallons or larger) off the internet? Does anybody know any good brands that can be bought off the internet?

Any tips are greatly appreciated! Thank you! :)

Are you looking for the full setup? Stand Canopy, sump/ref,... etc? or Just the Glass Aquarium itself?

I think just the aquarium...I've found good deals on canopies and stands at some online retailers, so now I'm just looking for the best deal I can find on an aquarium.

But...I guess if the tank, canopy and stand came together for a good price that would be fine too.

When I was searching for my 120g, the best deal I could find on a new one was from petco... You can order instore and ship to store, and just pick it up.. It avoids shipping and if it breaks during transit its not your problem!... My 120 + top + lighting unit was only 500$... I believe the All-Glass aquarium itself was 380$... Roughly 3$ a gallon is what it came out to.

Wow! That's a really good deal. I'll definitely check out Petco. I have one only 15 minutes away. Thanks for the tip! I never would of thought Petco would have the whole set up and everything.

What they do is special order it. When you talk to a manager there they place the order, ask if you want acrylic or glass, do you want a stand and if so what kind... do you want a sump/fuge built in... hood, type of lighting, etc... You can basicly build it all. and If there are any special order parts that where never picked up prior to your order, you get a percentage off on them... Like If per say I didnt pick up my 120g tank, it would have sold for something like 220 in the store LOL... I was half tempted to forget and have a friend pick it up!
